It was a wonderful honor for Palm Garden Resort and the city of
Hoi An to host Miss Universe 2008. Amazing beauty pageants from
84 countries joined the program “Miss Universe in Hoi An City
and Beach” on 25th June, 2008. The event was a great success and
left unforgettable impressions for the people of Hoi An and
Vietnam. |

“BREATH AND SMILE” RETREAT BY MASTER THICH NHAT HANH |

On 24 and 25 May, 2008, Palm Garden Resort welcomed Mai’s
Village Monks and together with more than 300 businessmen
throughout Vietnam. The “Breath and Smile” retreat is an
exceptional event to learn from Master Thich Nhat Hanh on how to
walk in silence, eat in silence and pray for “a peaceful world
in the future” (Dan An Quoc Thai).
The businessmen had a chance to practice meditation and how to
balance their professional and personal lives. |
